If you’re a cookie fanatic like me, you have to try my new favorite cookies — Geoff and Drew’s.

Here is an example where I used Amazon Prime and it paid for itself. I sent out books to dozens of colleagues as a Christmas gift last year.

Each book was $10 or $15 each, so it wouldn’t qualify for the Amazon Super Saver shipping deal. But since I had Amazon Prime, I got free two-day shipping for each order.

So last night I was shopping online trying to find something that I could send, that she would ilke, that would get there overnight. I spent hours trying to find some sort of hard good that she would like that would get there in time, to no avail.

Then I came across the Amazon e-Giftcard, which is a total lifesaver. You just simply click on the Gift Card link from the Amazon home page, choose the amount you want to send, fill out the recipient information and your credit card information and their gift card is sent via email right away. And let’s face it, what can you not buy on Amazon these days?

So, my sister received her Amazon e-Gift Card today and she didn’t know any better that I forgot her birthday, until she sees this video. (Sorry about that Jen!)

If somebody has had a new baby, a new job, or a new home – or maybe if you want a unique way to say “get well” or profess your love, sending a ball in the mail is a neat way to do it.

After my third child was born, I got a gift that I thought was really neat. It was a personalized crib quilt from Lillian Vernon.

I used an SD card, but you could also use a CF or MMC card.

Today’s review is on the Micro X-Copter, the world’s smallest radio-controlled helicopter.

It’s only 6” long and weighs less than ½ an ounce. It comes out of the box already assembled and is made out of polypropylene foam, so it’s very sturdy.

What’s really cool about the helicopter is that it’s so light and small that it can also be flown indoors without having to worry about it damaging the furniture. It’s definitely fun for the kids on rainy days. It has two propellers and maneuvers similar to a real helicopter with an altitude and rotor speed control.

It takes 6 AA batteries and charges by plugging the cord into the helicopter. The light on the box lets you know when it’s charged and each charge lasts about 10 minutes.

It isn’t recommended for children under 5 because of the small parts, but big kids and adults really enjoy it. It also makes a great birthday or holiday gift.

This is a gift I love to get. If anybody is trying to figure out what gift to give to a guy that enjoys beer, this is the ideal gift.
