When I got my first laptop as my every day working machine years and years ago, I found that I could not stand using the keyboard on it all day.

I also found that my neck hurt when I was hunched over to look down at the screen. And trying to use the keypad mouse? Forget it, too hard.

All that changed when I finally found the Oyster Laptop Docking Station.

The Oyster Laptop Docking Station allows me to insert my laptop in an open position, making the screen go upright, so it’s just like having a monitor on my desk. I attach an external keyboard and mouse to my laptop when in use and it’s just like having a desktop machine, except at the end of the day I can easily disconnect everything and take it home with me.

The sturdy “shell” design supports my big Dell 17 inch laptop easily, with room to spare. There’s also plenty of space in the back for assorted cables and power supplies. It’s also very lightweight, so you can move it around easy enough, but it’s also perfectly balanced so it won’t fall over.

This product changed the way I work every day and I could not recommend it more. I have two of them. One at home and one at the office.

The Ativa DQ120D Diamond-Cut Shredder is a product I use on a daily basis in my office.

This shredder is great for destroying old business documents and junk mail – really anything you can think of that needs to be shredded.

But the Ativa DQ120D Diamond-Cut Shredder can tear up more than paper. If you’ve got an old CD of songs from an ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend, stick them in here and they’re obliterated. Same goes for DVD’s.

Old credit cards or credit cards you don’t want can be shredded with this shredder, as well.

Your papers are stapled? No worries. You can run them through this machine, too.

I bought the Ativa DQ120D Diamond-Cut Shredder because of the diamond cuts. With a regular shredder, you’ll typically get straight cuts, which could possible be put together.

But this shredder chops pages into diamond-shaped 0.28″ x 2.09″ bits. Try putting together a document out of those tiny scraps!

The shredder can take up to 12 pages. In the past, I had shredders that claimed they would cut up as many as 8 pages, but they could really only handle about else they’d jam.

When it comes time to empty the Ativa DQ120D Diamond-Cut Shredder, the bucket pulls out easily.

In the past, I had one that was very top heavy, and you had to remove the top to empty it, which was a hassle.

It’s very easy to use, and I like it a lot, because it does the job.
