Flip Video vs. Vado Pocket Video Cam

The popular Flip Video from Pure Digital Technologies now has a competitor in the Vado Pocket Video Cam from Creative. I filmed the same footage simultaneously from the Flip and Vado.

    Shawn: Which of the video settings did you have the Vado on for this comparison? I missed it if you stated it…Also, I need to check if the Vado has an underwater case, which the Flip does. Want it for my kayak fishing website, so you can see where that might help :)

    So far no hard underwater case for the Vado, but there is a “pouch” which is good to 5 meters. $30, made by creative.

    I think creative has been good with lenses and stuff related. I'm not sure about this cam, but I have desktop cam by creative and it works very fine.

    I have great experiece with the Vado cam. I bought about 1 month ago and I haven't had any problems with.
