WeViews.tv is Seeking Consumer Reporters

January 17th, 2008 · View Comments

WeViews.tv is seeking Consumer Reporters to create and submit their own video reviews of products or services they have used and recommend.

We will pay $10.00 for each submission that is accepted and published on the WeViews.tv website.

Also, we encourage the Consumer Reporters to insert their own affiliate links into the body of the video transcription, and they will receive 100% of affiliate commissions generated from their reviews.

Two things… first, the last link there, page_id=65, shows a blank page (well, the sidebars are there, but nothing in the center).

Second – fantastic idea… I was hoping this would come about, to tell you the truth. I have a big interest in video. So the question is – what kind of reviews are you looking for? Pretty much anything that fits into one of the categories on the left? Does they need to be new or new-ish items? Can’t imagine anyone would want a “review” of an Atari 2600, but you never know ;)

    Hi Daniel -

Not sure what is happening there – I am seeing it in IE and FireFox.

Do you see it at http://weviews.tv/seeking-consumer-reporters/

We are really looking for anything, though it’s a plus for you if it is popular, as people are more likely to buy it through your affiliate link.

You could probably move some Atari 2600′s through an eBay affiliate link.

We add categories as we review new stuff, so if you have something that doesn’t fit, we could just add the new category.

Great – thanks, Shawn. I figured it was the requirements that you were linking to; for some reason, I wasn’t seeing the page rendered correctly. Oddly, it works now for both links. Must’ve been a little browser hiccup on my end.

This is a great idea, hope you don’t mind a few questions:
Is it mandatory for the reviewer to appear in the video (like a talking head type video), or can we get creative?
If a video is rejected (i.e. too long or too short), is the reviewer told the reason for the rejection and allowed to rectify, if possible?
    TIA for the answers.

    Hi AzDana -

Feel free to get creative – no set rules.

We’ll be happy to work with you if we don’t think a first effort works, so we can make good things happen together.
