Lillian Vernon Crib Quilt

October 24th, 2007 · View Comments

When I hit a certain age, I guess sometime around my early to mid 30s, all of my friends started having babies. So that frequently brought up the occasion of getting something fun, interesting and memorable as a baby gift.

After my third child was born, I got a gift that I thought was really neat. It was a personalized crib quilt from Lillian Vernon.

The baby quilt is hand-embroidered with the baby’s name and birth date. Lillian Vernon enables you to have up to 20 letters/numbers per line with a 2-line limit.

Also, it’s got a cute picture of Noah’s ark with all the letters of the alphabet, and it’s pretty big at a size of 37″ x 46″.

I liked the crib quilt so much that I bought one for my fourth child, and also for my first two kids.

The baby quilts make for a nice keepsake that you could hang up on the wall, crawl on, or as a snuggle blanket.

In recent years, these quilts have been my go to gift for friends with babies. It’s a neat heirloom versus something more practical and boring.

So, if you’re in the market for a baby gift or just want to get something for your own child, check out the crib quilt at Lillian Vernon.
