Black Pearl Dual Voltage Tourmaline Flat Iron

October 8th, 2007 · Comments

Today I’m here to tell you about the Black Pearl Dual Voltage Tourmaline Flat Iron.

I had actually ordered this product before I left on my trip to the UK and France because I didn’t want to get stuck with the frizzies, because my every-day flat-iron didn’t work right, even with a voltage converter.

The great thing about this flat iron is that you can use it anywhere in the world. It works perfectly whether you’re on 110V or 220V.

This is the 1” style which allows you to not only straighten, but you can also curl and flip.
It heats up instantly and has scratch-resistant ionic plates which eliminates static electricity and frizz and leaves hair feeling silky.

It comes with a 9’ tangle-free cord, which comes in handy in Europe as I’ve found that most bathrooms in hotels do not have a place to plug in a hair dryer or flat iron and I’m not sure why considering the mirror is in there. In the last 3 hotels I’ve stayed at, I was lucky enough to have an outlet just outside of the door and the long cord allowed me to actually do my hair in front of the mirror inside.

It does come with a 2-prong adaptor plug with will get you through most of Europe. However, if you’re going to be using it in the UK, you will need to buy yourself a different adaptor that will fit the 3-prong outlet that is used.

I liked this flat iron so much that I’m continuing to use it here in the US.

So, if you’re looking for a dual-voltage flat-iron, check this one out. It works great and it’s reasonably priced.
