The HP Officejet 6310 All-in-One Printer, Fax, Scanner, Copier is perfect for the home office.

It’s compact enough to sit right on my desk and combines a bunch of machines into one.
This baby prints, scans, copies, faxes as well as emails through a PC over a network (although to be honest, I’ve never tried that because my PC is right next to it.)

Not only is it speedy, but it prints really high-quality photos — probably the best I’ve seen from an inkjet all-in-one. You can even print directly from your digital camera or by inserting your memory card.

Now, my prior all-in-one did not have a flatbed, which I didn’t think would be a big deal when I bought it. I realized how big of a mistake it was not to have a flatbed all-in-one, the day that I needed to fax a copy of my driver’s license over to my bank. You just can’t do it with a document feeder. Only a flat bed makes it possible to fax small items and to scan pictures without crumpling them.

The bonus about this all-in-one is that it also does offer a 35-page automatic document feeder which is terrific when you want to fax or make copies of multiple pages.

I think that the only thing I would change about this all-in-one is that I’d have wanted a paper tray that held more than 100 sheets of paper. But, it’s likely that no matter how big they made that paper tray, I’d still complain. I just find it annoying to replace it when it runs out.

So, if you’re looking for a compact solution for a terrific all-in-one, to me, the HP Office Jet 6310 All-in-One is a slam-dunk. I hope you’ll consider it, if you’re in the market.
