The SanDisk 2GB MicroSD/TransFlash Card with SD Adapter is mainly designed for mobile phones with multimedia applications like digital cameras, video capture and playback, MP3 players, and Multimedia Message Service (MMS).
For instance, I have a Blackberry 8800, and it comes with a fairly limited amount of memory, but the SanDisk 2GB MicroSD/TransFlash Card enables me to easily add on 2MB of space.
Now I am able to fit lots of videos and music. And with the adapter, I can copy over the content of the memory card to my computer or other devices that have a Secure Digital (SD) slot, like the photo machine at the local drugstore.
This particular MicroSD memory card is from SanDisk. That’s my preferred company for memory, as they have a great reputation for quality, and I don’t want to trust my photos, music and videos to some no-name memory card.
