The iHome iH6 Clock Radio for iPod (Black) is a stereo that enables you to play an iPod out loud.
In my case, I use my video iPod with the iHome iH6, and as iPod users may know, docks like the iHome require inserts for the different sized iPods, and the iHome iH6 comes with them.
The iHome iH6 is ideal for an office or other space where you don’t want to have a big stereo system taking up space. Even though it’s pretty small, it puts out some loud, quality sound.
In addition to paying whatever is on your iPod, it also has a clock radio. And there is a remote that comes with it, though I keep it near my desk, so that’s superfluous for me.
I guess I could use it for some over the shoulder, no-look song selecting.
In the past, I just played music off iTunes on my computer, but that takes some resources, and I don’t want anything to slow me down. Also, the iHome iH6 is very portable.
Lastly, when your iPod is plugged in, the iHome iH6 charges it, which is a big plus.
