Recently, I was on a trip to Chicago, and I wanted to go on a walk after landing at the airport and checking into my hotel.
Then I realized that the battery on my Video iPod was dead. I was thinking, should I try to find an Apple store when I have no idea where one is in the city?
So, I went out for a walk to see if i could find a store that might carry electronics accessories, and I came across a Sharper Image store.
The Sharper Image had a device called an iGo, which is a universal adaptor for electronics, and I was able to get one with an attachment for my video iPod.
The price was reasonable, and I can now get adaptors for a variety of other devices, which I plan to do.
I’d definitely recommend the iGo if you don’t want to lug around your iPod dock when you travel. I’ve got mine connected to the back of my computer, and it’s a hassle to get back there and disconnect it, so the iGo works out great for me.
